Julian, Yoko, and Sean at the groundbreaking ceremony for Strawberry Fields, a section in Central Park in tribute for John, in New York City on March 21, 1984. The mosaic was dedicated and open for the public on October 9, 1985. After the dedicated ceremony, Yoko taped a message for the fans visiting on the mosaic:
'Thank you for thinking of John today. Have a nice life! Love, Yoko, Julian & Sean"
Sean was wearing John's clothes and hat. Julian later gave Sean his jacket, which Sean would later lose.
