Rare Performer

I already covered Cynthia's brief career as a singer (The Hidden Singer of the Lennons) but I never covered her concerts... as far as I found out, there were only two:
The first one was with The Silver Beatles (tribute band) with Pete Best and Allan Williams not long after her single Those Were the Days was released. My friend Sentimentalist was there and posted her photos on her wonderful website dedicated to the wives and girls, It's Only Love.

Another concert Cynthia took part of was on February 22, 1996 at the Weymouth Pavilion in Weymouth, England where she shared the bill with The Merseybeats, Twinkle, Denny Laine, The Silver Beatles, and The Quarrymen. As you know, Denny was part of Paul and Linda McCartney's band, Wings throughout it's run in the 1970s. The Silver Beatles played with Cynthia previously, as mentioned above. The Merseybeats (with two original members, Tony Crane and Billy Kinsley) were among the many local bands to perform at The Cavern with The Beatles, Rory Storm & The Hurricanes, Gerry & The Pacekeepers, and Cilla Black. The Quarrymen only consisted of Rod Davis and John Duff Lowe; a year later (1997), Rod reunited with the original members from The Quarrymen (Pete Shotton, Colin Hanton, Eric Griffiths, and Len Garry) to tour and perform for the next several years. Duff didn't join afterwards as he wasn't the original.
